Municipal Operations
Municipal Operations includes, but is not limited to:
- Graffiti removal
- Implementation of Corporation Yard Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans
- Municipal stormwater pump station inspection, operation, maintenance, and monitoring
- Implementation of appropriate BMPs during road, parking lot and bridge repair and maintenance work
- Meeting requirements in the Stormwater Permit (MRP 3.0) relevant to municipal operations. In MRP 3.0, this includes the following:
- C.2 Municipal Operations
- C.4 Business Inspections, Commercial/Industrial BMPs
- C.5 Spills and Illicit Discharges
- C.9 Pesticides Toxicity Control
- C.10 Trash
- C.13 Copper Controls
- (New) C.17 Discharges Associated with Unsheltered Homelessness
The CCCWP Municipal Operations Committee (MOC) reviews and provides assistance to municipal maintenance and operations staff, as needed, to ensure consistent and effective BMPs are implemented during the operation, inspection, and routine repair and maintenance activities of municipal facilities and infrastructure.
