Low Impact Development

The NPDES Permit requirements include Low Impact Development (LID) source control, site design, and stormwater treatment measures in new development and redevelopment projects. 

CCCWP facilitates the planning Countywide in new development and redevelopment projects to address both soluble and insoluble stormwater runoff pollutant discharges and controls to prevent increases in runoff flows. These plans are communicated to the 21 Contra Costa County Permittees authorities to include these implementations in new development and redevelopment projects.
